A good transformation story has jobs to do.
Beyond inspiration, a useful narrative helps people understand context, make choices, and locate their own responsibility.

Treat the story as operating infrastructure
The transformation story is often asked to create excitement. That is not enough. It must also explain what is changing, guide trade-offs, and help people answer the questions that arrive after launch.
Write from decisions, not slogans
The strongest language comes from real strategic choices. If every option still fits beneath the story, it is not doing useful work.
Give leaders a way to use it
Equip leaders with examples, questions, and room to connect the enterprise direction to local reality. Consistency of meaning matters more than consistency of script.
